    Just started FF this morning and see that all tabs are now grey?

    Checked the history and see that it has an update today. No way now of coloring a tab? Not even the controls showing anywhere and the info box below 'Let's re-color the tabs Shall we!' has been trying to load for the last 30 minutes without anything showing!

    I've restarted FF and the whole laptop, not change!

    I'm guessing this might be an update to get this working on FF v57, but does that mean it no longer works on v56 and lower?

    It's only meant to work on Firefox 57 and later.

    Yes, but many of us don't want to upgrade yet due to many extensions not working. So I need to keep the old version of colorful tabs with V56 of Firefox. The extension keeps updating itself and has grey tabs. How do I stop the upgrade and keep it at v31?
    You have caused a problem with forcing the upgrade.
    Additionally, I tried it with 57 on a different PC. It causes the Firefox Menu bar to have fuzzy and unreadable characters.

    IT should check if it v57 before upgrading automatically.

    I attach a snapshot of the new Colorful tabs on 57. You will see that the tabs are not colored. However, the drop down from the 'Star' icon shows 3 colored tabs. Something is not working right.

    Firefox ESR will not get any updates for ColorfulTabs webextension.

    As for the webextension part, currently Firefox doesn’t let you modify any tabs. Please follow the discussion here: https://www.addongenie.com/forums/topic/colorfultabs-disabled-in-firefox-quantum
