Hi all, This is a great idea! A couple of suggestions:
(1) The colors are just TOO bright and saturated. They kind of annoy the eyes. Suggest you try to use colors with lower saturation and brightness. The human visual system will do a better job of fast color hunting that way.
(2) I think the way you are using colors is a bit backward. The whole idea is to allow the user to instantly find the tab of interest using the human visual color hunting ability. I suggest you set it up so that each tab has a separate color and displays it at all times. The way it is set up now, one still has to read the text in each tab to find the tab of interest because all the background tabs have white backgrounds. The unselected tabs should be colored and the selected tab should be white. Try it, you'll like it 🙂

Now my theme color has been erased and replaced by black on while for EVERYTHING on the top two rows BUT for the selected tab, and it has been replaced by THAT SAME COLOR as background for all items on rows 3 and 4 ... this is overkill. I STRONGLY suggest an "Option" in Colorful Tabs Options which brings the view BACK to it's old view. Just name it "Prior Version Scheme" and let us click on a check box for it. Thank you!
