Tab Color Changes After Closing FF

I have FF 29.0.1
colorfulTabs 23.8

I have a tab for a forum that I visit. The tab color I set it to was RED(see RED.JPG attachment).
ColorfulTabs will display that color until I close that tab. Then it changes to the pinkish color (see pinkish.JPG attachment)
It seams as though that the version of ColorfulTabs doean't matter.
