These all sound good. I especially like "New tab before/after this tab," "Height/width settings for selected/unselected/all tab(s)," &, I think, "Send tab to a certain position," though I'm not sure how it would be implemented. (I'm not a developer.)
I don't quite understand what you mean by "Color the toolbar with the color of the current tab." Actually, I have a couple of layers of toolbars.
ColorfulTabs is a fine product that I've been using for years; I'm sure any changes you decide to make will only improve it.

Gaia, your suggestion sounds interesting, and I look forward to seeing it. By the way, though I don't know when this was written, there is (supposedly) a way to put the tabs back on the bottom for FF.

The First 2 screenshots are about the tabs repositioning when I change window.
Not entirely sure that this is a colourful tabs issue.
The first one shows the tab I have selected before switching window away from firefox.
The second shows how the tabs move when I select the other window.The second 2 screenshots show how the tabs move if I reselect firefox by clicking a tab.
The first of these is before I select firefox and the tab that I select is marked by the x
The second is after clicking the indicated tab. Firefox is selected again and puts me on a completely different tab.
The tab it places me on is the same distance from the left of the screen as the one I clicked.Hope this makes sense + Helps.
Please let me know if there's any other info I can give you or if you need more clarification on anything.
=]May be you've played around with the color fine-tuning under the ColorfulTabs options. Please reset them and see if it works. Also send me a screenshot.

However, just as a note it might be nice to have separate colors within the same domain (i.e. distinct colors for google.com/mail and google.com/voice), but aside from that this is perfect and I am content 🙂

Well I just realised that it is already possible since the presets support regular expression. If you put a dot in the top most entry and set it to #eeeeee then all the tabs will be gray by default (unless the domain matches any of the entries later). See the attachment pls.
The new version will be out soon once I get rid of my flu and have time to work on ColorfulTabs 🙂
That news and your near instantaneous response have made you my favorite person in the world. The ability to do that will cement ColorfulTabs as my favorite extension of all time.
Do you know when we might expect a new version? I expect you have much better things to do then pump out updates every time a whiner (that's me) pops up to hassle you.
