Norm Gilbert, I am with you.
I switched to Firefox ESR (whatever that stands for) and am enjoying the traditional ColorfulTabs display we all know.
I am oblivious to the advances of the new Quantum browser but I occasionally switch to Chrome for speed and one day I might not come back.
So if you can think of a way of waking up Mozilla to our plight, count me in.

Rex Reed, I installed both FireFox 52.5 ESR and ColorfulTabs 31.2.3 as suggested by Shivanand and it is working perfectly.
You need to disable the automatic updates and stay put until it is safe to go back to Quantum.

I also installed the web extension with the same results. It seems to clash with Persona as well. Thanks Shivanand for all your efforts, I can see it is only a question of time before you get it back on top.

i have just updated Firefox and already wish I hadn't. The first thing I noticed was that ColorfulTabs were missing. I am assuming you will be updating but, how will we know you have? Should we check or will it be automatic?
Thank you for making my screen so much more interesting all these years!!
