Judy AParticipant
I appreciate your effort in attempting to restore, but it just doesn't work, at least for me. I have vision issues and colorful tabs made it possible for me to use the browser at all. Having to click away in order to see different color tabs might work with 5 tabs, but it sure doesn't work with 30. Without colorful tabs, all browsers are the same. Good luck with bringing back colorful tabs, though I think we all know it's gone forever. I can't say I think too much of the contributors to FF over the last many years. FF has been slowly, but surely, getting more and more gummed up. There is only one reason I can think of for why contributing programmers would prevent carrying colorful tabs over to Quantum. It conflicted with something they wanted to do, so they dropped it in the trash, despite the fact that millions of people use it. Google does the same thing and it doesn't even matter if you pay for it. They wait for you to get embedded in a program and then they nix it, or it becomes incompatible with the other programs you use. They've destroyed maps and since they bought Waze, they're in the process of destroy that too. I went back to Garmin.
Aside from losing a most valuable add-on, the design is terrible. I lost all my customizations. As it stands, at least to me, it looks like a cheap, watered down version of the original. I guess I'm supposed to spend time trying to make it work for me again, which I won't do, especially since the add-ins and themes don't come close to how it used to be. Programmers think we just don't like change. Keep thinking that and FF will disappear due to lack of public interest in it.
So, Chrome/Opera for now. Thanks for your time and effort.
So disappointed and disheartened.
